At heart, it's a 4-thread industrial overlocker that trims, joins and neatens the edge in a single pass. Take out one needle and it becomes a 3-thread for lighter edge finishing. It's at home on light to medium-weight fabrics, from T-shirts and jersey to blouses, linings and everyday garments.

Looking after your machine
- A few minutes of care keeps an overlocker running for years. Check the oil level before you start each day and top up with industrial sewing machine oil only. Brush out lint from around the loopers, knife and trimmer regularly, and change the needle as soon as you notice skipped stitches.

Can I use it as a 3-thread overlocker?
Yes. Remove one needle and it sews a narrower, lighter 3-thread stitch, ideal for neatening edges. Switch back to 4-thread when you need a stronger seam that joins and finishes at the same time.
Should I choose a 4-thread or a 5-thread overlocker?
For knitwear and most garment seams, 4-thread is the right choice. If you mainly sew woven fabrics and want an extra chainstitch line for added strength, a 5-thread is worth considering. We're happy to talk it through with you.
Will it handle stretch and jersey?
Yes, it's well suited to light and medium knits. With very stretchy fabrics, try a test piece first and adjust the differential feed until the seam lies flat.
Can it sew denim or upholstery fabric?
It's designed for light to medium-weight fabrics. For heavier materials, call us and we'll recommend a machine that will do the job properly.
Will it plug into a normal UK socket?
